Andrea Kollo has a photography background of over 30 years, dating before the digital revolution when shooting film came with no 'safety net', no digital labs, computerized post production tools or laptop previews. The margin of error in transparency film gave one the need for, and experience in lighting and composition which is invaluable.
The long discipline in roll film translates to a thoughtful approach to every project, or 'shooting like it's film & processing with all the technological wizzardry of digital' - a great combination which comfirms that the art of photography still begins with the photographers eye. Whenever possible, Andrea likes the use the complexity and subtly of nature light.
Andrea believes in bringing the clients vision to life which means as many consultations as may be necessary, communication and an agreement based on a partnership of mutual respect, understanding and shared vision.
